Home and Away fans are still arguing about Tane Parata and Jo Langham’s pairing. The relationship has shifted so many times that viewers are unsure where it even stands now. Their scenes continue to divide opinions. And some are calling the match dull, and others are still hoping something develops. Keep scrolling to know more.
Tane And Jo’s Latest Storyline In Home and Away
The early 2026 arc pushed Tane and Jo from romance into chaos. Jo was recently trapped in the train crash that opened the year. Elsewhere, Tane ignored police warnings to get inside the tunnel and pull her out. However, she dealt with crush syndrome afterwards. And this changed the way she saw the relationship.
Later things became more complicated when Jo’s ex, Eddie Shepherd, showed up again. She suddenly stepped away from Tane in January. Viewers later also criticised Eddie. It’s because he left her during the train crash instead of helping her. And even after that, Jo drifted back towards him out of comfort. However, she actually is unaware that Eddie didn’t save her.

This week, Jo tried to fix things with Tane. However, he was already distracted by the fight for custody of Archie. And so he stepped back from romance altogether. He even friend-zoned her. Soon, their relationship became something uncertain. And their future has been unclear for now.
Fans React With Mixed Opinions
Viewers on Reddit have been arguing about whether Tane and Jo work. One fan said that Jo “Drags every scene down.” Fans believe her sudden confidence “looks forced,” especially when compared to how natural Tane felt with Felicity. “Feels flat from the first minute, wrote another.”
However, many users also defended Jo. They said they could see sparks if the writing gave her better material. One watcher said Tane “carries their scenes anyway.” Elsewhere, users badly want Eddie gone for good. They wrote, “Can’t wait to see him gone.”

One fan, however, said they liked Tane and Jo from the moment her car broke down. However, they do agree that no one fits him the way Felicity did. Others argue that Felicity herself “was a headache.” They pointed out the risky situations she got into.
Elsewhere, some comments also dragged Harper. One user called her “the most personality-less character in the Bay.” However, they blamed the writer for it, not the actor.
