Next week in Home and Away, one man puts his heart on paper in a final attempt to reconnect with his baby, while another hits breaking point as tensions explode in public. Get ready for a week of emotional highs, explosive showdowns, and a few surprises along the way.
Tane Holds On To Hope
Tane’s been feeling the sting of rejection ever since Harper gave birth. While he’s now a father, she’s made it painfully clear she doesn’t want him involved, not right now, at least. Feeling shut out, he turns to Cash and opens up about Harper’s decision to keep her distance.
But just when it seems like he’s ready to give up, Mackenzie encourages him not to walk away. Inspired, Tane decides to try something different, something straight from the heart. He hands Mac a special gift for baby Archie, along with a letter he’s written just for his son. He asks her to deliver it quietly at the hospital, hoping his words will speak where actions couldn’t.
Harper Reads the Letter in Home and Away
Mackenzie follows through and gives the letter to Harper at the hospital. And once Harper opens it, everything changes. Tane’s heartfelt message hits Harper hard. The letter brings tears to her eyes and softens the guard she’s been holding up for days. His sincerity, love, and honesty shine through—and she realises she may have been too quick to shut him out.
In a warm and emotional moment, Harper invites Tane back into the fold. She asks him to return to the hospital and even apologises for pushing him away. For Tane, it’s the glimmer of hope he’s been clinging to—and maybe, just maybe, the start of something real between him, Harper, and little Archie.
Kirby Crosses a Line
But while Tane’s week ends on a tender note, things are heating up elsewhere, and not in a good way. Journalist Seb shows up in the Bay to shadow Kirby for a “day in the life” feature. At first, everything seems fine. Seb follows Kirby as she goes about her duties at the surfboard shop, and Kirby enjoys the spotlight.
He watches the whole thing play out, growing more uncomfortable by the minute. To him, it feels like Kirby’s milking the situation, and the final straw comes when he overhears her claiming credit for designing some of the surfboards. That’s one lie too many.
In front of Seb, Mali doesn’t hold back. He tells Kirby, point-blank, that she’s done. She’s fired. And he wants her out. The moment is raw, real, and explosive, and Seb, of course, is there to witness the whole thing.
