It looked like Dana had finally closed the door on Sonny, but next week in Home and Away, that door swings right back open, and this time, she might just throw away the key! After a whole lot of danger and drama with the River Boys, she made the sensible call to end things. But her version of “closure” might surprise a few people.
She Tried to Walk Away
Things were already messy. Sonny had been staying under security watch after getting dragged into River Boy trouble, he’d been beaten up for helping Theo, who was in deep trouble for hooking up with Spanner’s girlfriend, Lacey. Dana met Sonny while he was recovering in hospital, and they hit it off. There was wine and flirting.
Remi warned her to stay clear, and Harper was completely against the whole thing once she learned the full story. But Dana didn’t listen. Then came the ambush, River Boys attacking the car during the court trip. That shook Dana up. She told Sonny it was over, and Harper was glad to see her sister finally thinking straight.
But That “Closure” Got Steamy Fast in Home and Away
Cut to Dana out with Harper at Salt, trying to move on, but her eyes keep wandering back to Sonny. Later, she finds him alone on the balcony. They talk. It’s respectful, until Dana brings up how they never really got closure. Before long, she’s at his apartment. She flirts, he flirts back, and they end up in bed again.
As they lie there, Sonny jokes they can finally move on now. But when Theo and Lacey come home, Dana says she should stay, just to avoid any awkward run-ins. Sonny agrees, adding they can use the time to work through more “issues.”
Friends Don’t Look Like That
Next morning, Harper sees Dana strolling in with Sonny and looks furious. Irene’s already clocked what’s going on and hands Dana a coffee. Dana smirks and says she hardly slept, clearly enjoying Harper’s reaction.
Dana tells Harper and Irene they’re “just friends” now, and that she’s simply found closure. Harper isn’t buying it, especially when Sonny turns up, gives Dana a cheeky grin, and loudly says he’s off to the surf club to play pool. Message received.
They meet again later, shoot a bit of pool, and, yep, you guessed it, they’re back in bed. By morning, Harper can’t find Dana. When she lets herself into Sonny’s place, she hears voices behind the bedroom door. Dana tries to play it cool when Harper storms in, but Harper’s had enough. She wants Dana out.
