Home and Away star Sarah Roberts finally shares her Endometriosis diagnosis. She found answers after five years of searching and posted an update for Endometriosis Awareness Month. Sarah Roberts Long Road To Answers
Sarah shared that it took five years and four months of trying before she finally received her Endometriosis diagnosis. The actress is technically part of the “lucky” group. And it’s because the average time for a diagnosis is 6.5 years. Sarah was silent forr most of the month. However, now she felt it was wrong not to share her story since her condition is a huge part of her story.
Sarah says living with Endometriosis isn’t like a cute or aesthetic social media post. Also, the actress gave credit to her boyfriend for being by her side at appointments. She also thanked her family and friends for keeping her sane.” Sarah has spoken because many women are being misdiagnosed or not believed by others.
Roberts shared, “Endometriosis isn’t just “bad period pain”. It’s a chronic, inflammatory disease that can impact your whole body, your mental health, your relationships and everything.” Adding further she shared, “And the most cooked part? There’s often ZERO correlation between how bad it looks and how much pain you’re in. So if you’re sitting thinking, ‘maybe I’m being dramatic…you’re not.”

Emily Weir shared, “Beautiful Sare bear.” Meanwhile, Juliet Godwin commented, “Thank you for sharing.” A fan wrote, “I was an endo sufferer for years. Drs told me I was a hypochondriac until finally a wonderful doctor took notice and that changed things. You are wonderful and sending you hugs.” While another added, “You are the bravest, funniest, strongest, most incredible woman.”
Sarah Roberts’ Final Stint In Home and Away
Sarah played Willow Harris on the show. And the character had a happy ending on the show when she left Summer Bay for a fresh start in Queensland. Willow felt a major betrayal.
