Meghan Markle: With Love, Meghan’s New Scene Goes Viral
Meghan Markle’s love for a “cottage core” lifestyle was finally made into a full-blown show, With Love, Meghan. The collaborative project with Netflix hit the screen on March 4, 2025, treating us with lifestyle tips and celebrity guest appearances. Moreover, the Duchess is showing how to be an aesthetically pleasing host.
The only problem? People are not buying the concept of this show, and there have been mixed reactions. In fact, some critics dubbed it a “gormless lifestyle filler,” with some Netflix stars joining the burn parade. Ouch. Christina Pazsitzky called the show “highly inauthentic,” while Katherine Ryan claimed Meghan fakes being “humble.”
Furthermore, comedian Whitney Cummings went a step further and claimed that Meghan’s lifestyle project very subtly mocked the British royal family and their culture. And then we were blessed with the viral pretzel moment. In one episode of With Love, Meghan, our royal host, packs store-bought pretzels into custom-labeled bags.
Markle prepares a welcome basket for her dear friend and makeup artist, Daniel Martin. However, this innocent act turned into online mockery, leading Jimmy Fallon to roast the ex-Suits star on The Tonight Show. Jimmy talks about the “biggest mystery puzzling scientists,” and his sidekick Steve Higgins attacks Markle in his response.
Jimmy Fallon Roasts the Duchess
He goes, “Why does Meghan Markle make her own pretzel bags? They don’t know why.” The crowd bursts into laughter. Fallon continues the banter, saying, “She takes it from one bag and puts it in another bag.” Confusing much? Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s better half is on a roll as she recently announced a podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
It will be about successful women sharing their business journeys and the struggles along the way. The trailer drops on March 25, with the first episode set to premiere on April 8. But let’s not forget that she has tried this format before with the Archetypes podcast. Sadly, it ran for only one season before the Sussexes’ deal with Spotify ended.
With season two of Meghan’s show already filmed and slated for an autumn release, Markle stays right before our eyes. In the meantime, keep reading Soap Opera Daily for your daily fix of Meghan Markle scoop! Do you think Meghan deserves the trolling for making a goodie for her friend?
