Kate Middleton and her husband Wiliam hold several global locations close to their hearts. Be it Scotland, where the couple first met, to Jordan, where the Princess of Wales spent her early years and has since returned for family getaways.
However, the place that is most dear to the royal couple is Africa, and they would definitely want to explore it with their kids. However, the duo will face one obstacle in the way of that, keep scrolling to find out!
The Prince and Princess of Wales are true wanderlusts, and the couple loves to travel. Even though they have been to numerous countries and places, the one location that stays close to their hearts is Africa.
And now, some reports reveal that Kate and William want to introduce their kids—George, Charlotte, and Louis—to the wonders of Africa. Furthermore, royal commentators have been buzzing over this and speculating on when this might happen.
A BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, shed light on the matter while speaking to OK! Magazine. She said, “Africa is magical. End of story. It is entirely natural for William to want to take his young family to see the wonders of the wildlife and wilderness of Africa before it is too late.” Despite plans for this trip being set in motion, Bond reflects on one obstacle the royals might face before finalising the details.

Reportedly, William will not take his kids to Africa without their mother, Kate Middleton, so it might take a while before they enjoy this amazing experience. Royal fans know that the royal mother-of-three was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and has been undergoing treatment for the same. So, it looks like the future King will have to wait until her wife is doing well since no parents should miss watching their kids’ happiness.
These insights come following comments made by Tusk Trust CEO Charlie Mayhew. The businessman discussed William’s desire to introduce his three children to the continent sooner rather than later. Mayhew also lauded the Prince’s dedication to conservation and the environment.
Along with this, the couple loves this place for another reason, too. As per reports, Prince William proposed to his then-girlfriend, Kate Middleton, while the pair were vacationing in Kenya. So it definitely is a very special place for the royal couple. For more such updates on the royal family, keep following Soap Opera Daily!
