King Charles called for a private meeting with his daughter-in-law after the palace shifted focus to Prince William’s throne ascension plans. The agenda of Kate’s private meeting with her father-in-law particularly focused on her return to official duties. According to sources, the King has asked her about stepping up sooner than expected.
The father-and-daughter-in-law duo has come even close after both of their cancer diagnoses. They almost went through the battle together and fought it out. As the two have such a great understanding, we think the private meeting was maybe – just a chance for them to sync up. According to sources, right now, it’s everyone’s priority to ensure a smooth transition for Kate and William.
The royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith previously told People that even though King Charles is trying his best to complete his duties, there are some limitations that he has to follow through. He added that William has been also been taking on more responsibilities and is gearing up with his wife to fit in perfectly in future roles!
