Life has been a real challenge for Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal family in recent times. She had been battling cancer but has now emerged victorious. The Princess of Wales recently completed her chemotherapy treatment and made a surprise appearance to mark her return to royal duty.
Earlier this week, a teenager who is suffering from a rare cancer was invited to Windsor Castle, during an investiture ceremony being conducted by Prince William. It is there, that Kate Middleton met the braveheart and made a grand and sentimental gesture by pulling the teenager in for a warm embrace.
Few heartwarming pictures surfaced from the meet after budding photographer Liz Hatton, from Harrogate in North Yorkshire, was given special permission to capture snapshots at the ceremony. “A pleasure to meet with Liz at Windsor today. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us. W&C.” The Prince and Princess of Wales wrote on social media.
“To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand,” Kate had promised in a video message that she had previously released while getting treatment for her cancer. It is wonderful to see that the Royal Princess is keeping her promise and truly standing shoulder to shoulder with people who are suffering through the tough battle that cancer is.
“There was nothing about them that suggested they were superior. They were just really human, to be honest, and really natural. There was never a moment of awkwardness. It was normal to talk to them. They talked a lot about my photography,” Liz told the Mirror, as she raved about the future King and Queen.
Reflecting on the conversation she had with the Royal couple, Liz stated that Kate shared a little bit about her own interest in photography. Furthermore, she enquired about the camera the 16-year-old photographer uses. She attested that she has been deeply touched by how incredible Kate and William were to her.
Liz also divulged a little about the 10 rounds of painful chemo that she has taken so far. We really hope the young soul gets relief from the wicked disease soon. Until then, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more news and updates on Kate Middleton and the rest of the Royal Family.
