Fans of the British Royal Family were elated to hear that Kate Middleton called up Prince Harry on his birthday and extended an olive branch. For the first time in years, it felt as though there was a real possibility for a royal reunion between the estranged members of the family. However, new reports have now surfaced that dismiss the above claims.
The reports of Kate having contacted Harry started surfacing after the Princess of Wales released an emotional video to share that she had completed the chemotherapy treatment that she was undergoing. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything,” Kate stated in the video.
Furthermore, the princess added that the tough times have reminded her and Prince William to be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. After the release of the video, many journalists, including Royal expert Jennie Bond, suggested that Kate may have extended an olive branch to Prince Harry.
Some reports even claimed that Kate Middleton wanted to have a private meeting with Harry during his previous UK visit. However, NewsNation is now claiming that a source from the palace denied any “burying of the hatchets”. So, those who were holding their breath to witness a royal reunion may have to wait longer.

Another source claimed that Kate has previously played the peacemaker between Harry and William. However, she isn’t doing that anymore. They added that one reason for it could be the fact that Harry made some not-so-great claims about her, and even stated that she was rude to Meghan Markle.
Previously, speculations had been rife that Harry was referring to King Charles and Kate Middleton as Royal Racists in his interview with Oprah. Speaking about the rather public birthday wish to Prince Harry from Kate and William, the source pointed out that was generic and not personal. The source drew attention to how it was signed. “You’ll notice it wasn’t signed by Catherine, William, the King or the Queen (Camila).”
So, it seems that the reunion is not happening anytime soon after all! Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more updates on Kate Middleton and the rest of the Royal Family.
