Kate Middleton “will reach out to Harry and Meghan” over Christmas in a bid to end the royal feud. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been estranged from the royal family since they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020. The duo last joined the Firm for the festivities in December 2018. Tensions between both sides have been rising ever since the Sussexes’ bombshell Netflix docuseries.
There has also been news about the couple not being invited to Sandringham this year and they will be celebrating the holidays in Montecito with their kids. However, former royal butler Grant Harrold believes Princess Kate is now prepared to start mending the relationship. He thinks that she will reach out to Harry and Meghan over the festive season, possibly enjoying a FaceTime with them.
Harrold said, “I believe that Catherine will reach out to Harry and Meghan. And wish them a Happy Christmas and I think Harry and Meghan themselves will possibly reach out.” While speaking to GB News, he also added that Christmas is all about goodwill to others. So Kate might believe in forgetting the past and letting bygones be bygones. This olive branch from the future queen is coming after the end of her chemotherapy treatment.
