Prince & Princess Of Wales Unusual Living Setting Unveiled
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a heartfelt and emotional video where the mother-of-two discussed her journey with cancer and announced the completion of her chemo sessions. The royal couple rarely ever discuss their home life amongst all the pomp and circumstances of royalty. And now, their living arrangements, including sleeping at the Kensington Palace, have been out, and it is not what one might expect.
Kate and William’s sleeping arrangements are rather unusual, as they don’t get their heads down in an upstairs bedroom. According to OK! Magazine, a floor plan of their home in Apartment 1A of the famous London building shows where the bedrooms are located, even though the couple, along with three beautiful kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis, moved to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Estate in September 2022.
Their former home, which is still listed as the family’s official house, has always been a bit puzzling. Instead of being upstairs, the main bedroom they used to share was on the ground floor of Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace. This was the former home of Princess Margaret and has 20 rooms, four floors, a life, gym and nine rooms for members of staff.

While discussing why the luxurious home is referred to as an ‘apartment, ‘ late royal author Warwick highlighted that all royal residences at Kensington Palace are called apartments, which makes people think they are flats, like the American term for the word. “They are not. If you think of Kensington Palace in a way, it is built around three courtyards. If you kind of think of them as being these wonderful red brick terrace houses. Because they are all joined, but separate houses,” he added.
The famous couple Kate Middleton and Prince William recently touched several hearts as they gave a glimpse into their family life in an emotional video.
