His Majesty is set to take a break from his cancer treatment as he finally embarks on a royal visit, the biggest since he was diagnosed with the deadly disease earlier this year. According to Daily Mail, King Charles will soon begin his tour to Australia & Samoa with Camilla, and his doctors have given the green light for his brief pause of treatment. It looks like the King will be focusing on his royal duties while keeping his health in check, too.
In the coming week, the royal couple will start their first tour of Commonwealth countries since his accession. It also marks the duo’s first international trip since the King’s cancer diagnosis, which was announced earlier this year in February. This visit is particularly special since it is his first CHOGM as Head of the Commonwealth. However, during this visit, Charles’ treatment will stop briefly for 11 days, and it will resume when he returns.
