Get ready, EastEnders and Strictly fans. The 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing just added another star. RuPaul’s Drag Race sensation La Voix is the seventh celebrity confirmed for the show. They join EastEnders’ Suki Panesar, played by Balvinder Sopal. Social media star George Clarke is in the mix, too. Keep scrolling to learn more.
EastEnders: La Voix Brings Star Power and Fierce Energy
La Voix was runner-up on last year’s Drag Race UK. The star has also been on ITV’s Queens For The Night and Paramount’s Queen Of The Universe. They were also a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. La Voix is so excited to join Strictly. “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul, and Simon Cowell, but nothing excites me more than dancing in front of millions on live TV,” the star said.

The star promises glamour, energy, and a lot of laughs. They will tackle both ballroom and Latin styles. Suki Panesar has played the Walford matriarch since 2019. The actor shared her excitement. She said, “Being on EastEnders and joining Strictly is a dream come true.”
She has danced a little before. But she said this will be an amazing challenge. Fellow contestant George Clarke admitted he expects to “fall over a fair bit.” But he is still thrilled to take part.
Celebrity Contestants Bring Energy and Excitement
La Voix, Sopal, and Clarke are not alone. Reality star Dani Dyer is also joining them. So is actor Alex Kingston. Dutch football coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is in. And so is Gladiators’ Nitro, Harry Aikines Aryeetey. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are back as hosts. The judges will all be back, and Shirley Ballas will be there. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke are also returning.

Kingston was inspired by her friend’s time on the show. Hasselbaink is ready to get out of his comfort zone. Nitro is returning after last year’s Christmas Special. He’s set to give it his all on the dance floor. Rumours suggest former GB athlete Mo Farah could join. Stacey Solomon might join the cast. Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One from September to December with a lineup ready to impress. It will also have surprises and drama every Saturday night.
