Coronation Street Star Remembers Son On His Death Anniversary
The Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh shared a heart-touching post in the memory of her late son. On his death anniversary, the actress remembers the child she tragically lost 15 years ago. On February 11, 2009, Kym’s premature child, Archie, passed seconds after being born.
Since then, Kym has been raising awareness of baby loss. During her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, she even devoted an act to Archie. Recently, she posted a print of Archie’s tiny feet, a candle with the initial ‘A’ on it, an angel-engraved box, and a framed photo.
The Coronation Street actress captioned, “15 years since life changed forever. 15 years of missing you, loving you, and wishing we could hold you again. Of wishing we could hear your laugh for the first time. Wishing we had heard your voice. Wishing we had got to see you play and run and enjoy your birthdays, as you so deserved to do.” She added that she could never do those things with him, but on the day she celebrates him.
We are aware that Kym just lost her father to prostate cancer. In that context, she wrote that this year is special as Archie is with his grandpa. She expressed, “To give you big cuddles from us all, and I know you will cuddle him right back for us.”
