Just when it feels like the truth is inching closer to the surface, the show drops a baby bombshell that changes everything and it’s one that could force people to finally see Megan for who she really is.
A Predator Is About to Be a Mum?
Here’s the shocker: Megan Walsh finds out she’s pregnant, and the baby could be Will Driscoll’s. Yes, that Will. The underage boy she’s been grooming while pretending it’s some forbidden love story. It’s a twist that’s uncomfortable, upsetting, and very Corrie, because it drags this whole situation into a place there’s no coming back from.
What makes it worse is how Megan even got close to Will in the first place. Her job as a sports coach gave her full access, and she used that authority to quietly slide into his life.
Maggie Driscoll and Eva Price genuinely thought they were doing the right thing by supporting Will’s sporting future. They even paid Megan to travel from Hull to Manchester every week for one-on-one sessions; never realising they were handing her the perfect opportunity.
From our point of view, it’s clear Megan is a predator who knows exactly what she’s doing. But from Will’s side, it looks totally different. He honestly believes they’re in love.
When Jealousy Turns Dangerous
Megan’s control over Will is all about testing him. Like most abusers, she’s deeply insecure and constantly needs reassurance. She pushes him to keep secrets, accept distance, and prove he’s serious; all while telling him it’s love.
It’s a horrible pattern, but one she’s convinced herself she can manage. Things really start to wobble when Megan begins flirting with Daniel Osborne. He clearly fancies her and even helps her land a job at Weatherfield High.
Then, over Christmas, Megan takes it a step further by bringing Daniel to the Driscolls’ dinner. It’s a calculated move, making everything look innocent while deliberately winding Will up. And that jealousy explodes in the worst possible way. On Boxing Day, Daniel is brutally attacked, and it later comes out that Will was responsible. Megan keeps insisting she’s Will’s girlfriend, but the reality is all about power.
Viewers saw this coming long before the characters did. Social media lit up with theories about Megan being pregnant. In upcoming scenes, things unravel during Bertie’s birthday party. Alya Nazir asks Bertie to grab candles from Megan’s bag, but Daniel gets there first. Instead of candles, he pulls out a pregnancy test. Just like that, Megan’s secret is out in the open.
