Coronation Street is building toward another major twist in Megan Walsh’s storyline, and this time the truth may be harder for her to escape. As the pressure grows from all sides, a new discovery leaves the Driscoll family wondering if they finally have the proof they need.
Megan Tries To Hold Her Story Together
Megan is already in serious trouble after being exposed for grooming local teen Will Driscoll. Even so, she refuses to admit anything. With no firm evidence against her yet, she continues to defend herself and fight for her future.
At the police station, Megan faces questioning about her relationship with Will. She sticks to their planned story and says Will developed an inappropriate crush on her when she was his athletics coach, but she rejected him.
Will repeats the same version during his own interview with DC Kit Green. Still, the situation does not look good for them.
Sam Blakeman’s secret video shows Megan alone in a flat with Will outside of coaching hours, which raises serious doubts about her claims. At the same time, the Driscoll family hopes the police can recover deleted CCTV footage from the Chariot Square Hotel, where Megan and Will had booked a room on his 16th birthday.
A Discovery That Changes Everything
While the police continue their investigation, another discovery creates fresh suspicion. When Leanne throws Megan out, she searches through her belongings and finds pregnancy vitamins.
Leanne quickly tells Eva, Ben, Toyah and Ollie about what she has found. The group starts to question everything they thought they knew. They remember that Megan had claimed she had an abortion and had confided in Leanne about it a few weeks earlier. Now, that story begins to seem uncertain.
Toyah points out that the baby is gone, but Leanne is not convinced. She questions why Megan would still keep pregnancy vitamins in her bedside table if she had really gone through with an abortion. Eva suggests that if Megan has lied, then the truth may soon become impossible to hide.
She says that if that is the case, all the evidence they need could be growing in her belly. Megan’s situation is becoming more serious with every new detail. The video evidence, the possible CCTV footage, and now this discovery all add to the case against her.
The Driscoll family starts to believe they may finally have enough to uncover the truth and bring Megan to justice. Each new clue strengthens their suspicions. However, Megan continues to deny everything and sticks to her version of events.
