Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be honoured on October 9 in New York City. The Sussex couple will be receiving the Project Healthy Minds Humanitarians of the Year Award. They are being given this award for their contribution to making the online world a safer place for families and youth. The Sussex couple have their own nonprofit organisation, The Archwell Foundation, which undertakes philanthropic initiatives.
Meanwhile, the couple will also be a part of the fourth edition of the World Mental Health Day Festival, which will be organised by Project Healthy Minds. Elsewhere, apart from the Archwell Foundation, the couple has also created the Parents’ Network.
It was launched in 2023 in association with Project Healthy Minds. The couple also issued a statement regarding this. They said that they want to help people stay safe online. As parents, the stories inspired them to take action.
The Archwell Foundation Has Played A Significant Role!
Elsewhere, the Malton Standard reports that Project Healthy Minds and the Archwell Foundation are coming together to produce interviews of the people who are working to promote mental well being. The interviews will be shown at the Mental Health Day Festival on October 10.
Even the Archwell Foundation has erected a Memorial to pay tribute to the children who lost their lives due to the negative influence of social media. Furthermore, the Memorial is located in New York City and was opened in April this year.
It is an art display featuring 50 screens that resemble smartphones. Each screen shows the picture and name of the child who died because of the harmful effects of social media.
