Meghan Markle & Harry Evacuate Their LA Home!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle soon have to evacuate their LA home amid the raging wildfires. According to reports released by the government and various organizations, Santa Barbara County, where the former royals currently reside, is on high alert as the fires could soon spread to the area. Amidst all the smoke and shocking flames, their region is also said to be under the risk of power outages.
Royal fans know that the former royal couple reside in Montecito, California, just 60 miles from the fires across Malibu. They reside there with two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. A large area of Montecito has been deemed a ‘high fire risk’ area, with warnings of a power shutoff already issued. Although the timing for the power shutdowns varies. They could begin as early as 6 pm, Wednesday local time and last until 9 am Friday.
The Duke and Duchess also released a statement urging people to stay safe and help those in need. They said, ‘In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods. And devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life.’ The duo has also shared some resources and ideas for people in need. They also mentioned that The American Red Cross is on the ground helping those in danger.
