Meghan Markle’s behaviour was not welcome by Prince William and King Charles III as per the latest reports. In fact, it escalated to the point of causing tension between her and Kate. According to the reports, when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first married, the two of them were rather close to Prince William and Kate Middleton. However, things soon started to change.
According to insiders, while Kate and William enjoyed spending their time with this couple once in a while, something that Meghan Markle frequently did never sat well with the senior royals. The reports say that Meghan’s affectionate nature reportedly did not sit well with the palace.
Meghan had a very “hug-everyone” approach to social interactions. She would hug William whenever they would cross paths, which reportedly made some members of the royal household uncomfortable. In fact, it all got so much that the staffers started gossiping about it.
Meghan was coming from California and the American culture is quite open and tactile as compared to the reserved nature of the British royal family. So, it was an unwelcome attitude by the royal family. Sources claim that William started getting more uncomfortable with it over time and Meghan was hurt by the lack of response to her public display of affection.
The tension between Meghan and Harry only touched a new high when Prince Harry released his memoir, Spare. The book talked about some personal family conflicts. It talked about the physical altercation he had with Prince William, and the time Kate made Meghan cry over bridesmaid dresses.
Now, Meghan and Harry have moved to the USA and are trying to build a life there. However, many reports claim that Harry misses home too much and maybe wants some connection.
