NHMLAC Postpones The Event!
The Night of Wonder Gala, which is organised by the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles, has been postponed. Meghan Markle was set to make an appearance at the event. Earlier, they scheduled it for June 14. The rescheduling of the event took place due to the ongoing violence in Los Angeles following recent raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. Due to this, according to People Magazine, the event will take place later. The Natural History Museum’s leadership, Board of Trustees and event partners together made a decision to change the date.
The Natural History of Museums of Los Angeles said that this was appropriate according to current community circumstances. Meanwhile, Dr Lori Bettison-Varga Varga who is the president and director of the National History Museums of Los Angeles County, said that their focus during challenging times is not on celebration but on healing and unity.

The Night of Wonder Gala wanted to honour Meghan Markle’s work for the underserved communities.
