Meghan Markle is reportedly “very pleased” with her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard! The Suits actress has been hustling hard to establish herself with her new lifestyle brand. The struggle has been ongoing, especially after stepping away from royal life in 2020. But hey, it looks like it’s time for her to enjoy the fruits of her labour. The Duchess is super happy with how her brand is taking off, and it’s all going as planned. Read on to know all about it!
Meghan’s Lifestyle Brand Receives Warm Welcome
Meghan Markle quietly announced the launch of American Riviera Orchard back in March via an official Instagram account. It’s funny how she shut down her personal social media accounts before marrying Prince Harry in 2018. However, this brand is a big step for her! She even filed trademarks to market items like cutlery, cookbooks, and jarred foods.
Moreover, an insider told Us Weekly, “The rollout for American Riviera Orchard is already off to a strong start.” The website has received over 100,000 sign-ups from people itching to hear about the first products. Subsequently, Markle is thrilled with the early buzz and excitement surrounding her brand. The first product from American Riviera Orchard was a strawberry jam.
The Duchess of Sussex gifted the product to all her celebrity friends. These include Victoria Beckham, Kris Jenner, and her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. Furthermore, Kris shared a picture of the jam on her Instagram story, thanking the lifestyle brand. Meanwhile, Abigail wrote, “This jam is my jam. A delicious taste of what’s to come indeed. Love you so M.”
Back in June, a polo player, Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Figueras, revealed on Instagram that the brand also offers raspberry jam. Figueras, who’s a close pal to Harry, shared a photo of the raspberry preserves with a heart emoji. Additionally, each jam jar features the brand’s official label, with American Riviera Orchard written in cursive below a gilded logo.
The Suits actress adds a personal touch by handwriting the flavour on each label using her calligraphy skills. Meghan and Harry have been busy with new ventures in California since quitting royal life in 2020. The couple signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to create various new projects. Their Archewell Productions has already released several projects.
These include the six-part docuseries’ Harry & Meghan’ (2022) and ‘the Heart of Invictus’ documentary (2023). Don’t miss out on more Meghan Markle updates at Soap Opera Daily. Will Meghan emerge as a successful tycoon in the coming years? Tell us in the comments.
