The Duke and Duchess have donated £250,000 to a pioneering Women’s Wellness (Spa) center in Philadelphia. It was founded by Ashley Biden, daughter of US President Joe Biden. Recently, the third annual impact report for Meghan and Harry’s charitable organisation, Archewell, was released. This huge collaboration with Ashley was part of the couple’s philanthropic work in 2023-24.
The wellness center will focus on helping women impacted by trauma, aligning with Sussexes’ commitment to the community. It also counts Archewell as a founding partner. As for Ashley, she’s a social worker and is working towards creating a safe haven for women struggling with trauma. According to the Impact Report, the wellness center provides support and opportunities to women through the Mural Arts and Women’s Reentry Program.

Furthermore, the center’s services include nutritious food, exercise programmes, and meditation sessions. It also operates a drop-in facility that provides a beautifully designed space for women in Philadelphia. Archewell’s annual Impact Report for 2024 represents the organisation’s third full year operating.
