Prince Harry & Meghan Under Harsh Scrutiny
The Duke and Duchess are being slammed harshly for their latest Netflix documentary. The duo recently released Polo on the streaming platform, which focuses on elite global sport. However, it has failed to impress the audience and reviewers. This has led to rumours that this blunder could put their forthcoming deals with Netflix in danger. As per reports, they haven’t renewed their contract.
All eyes are now on Meghan’s upcoming culinary show, which is all set to take the floor next year. As for Polo, it didn’t even make the top 10 list in Britain or worldwide, as it received minimal promotion from Netflix or the Sussexes. And now, marketing expert Tony Case has opened up and called the new series a colossal bomb. Furthermore, people are distancing themselves from the show to avoid association.
While speaking to Daily Beast, he said, “The critics have universally slammed the show. Harry and Meghan are box office poison.” The expert also warned that there’s hardly anything that can be done to reverse the path Prince Harry and Meghan are on. Eric Schiffer, chair of Reputation Management Consultants, told Newsweek: “It’s a pompous portrayal of privilege posing as a documentary.”
