Meghan Markle Volunteers At A Relief Centre In LA
The Duchess of Sussex was seen on Monday dropping off donations and volunteering at a relief center in Altadena, California. According to reports, this organization is run by Altadena Girls, a grassroots institution founded last week by a young girl whose school was affected by the Eaton Fire. The 14-year-old wanted to help other girls “regain their sense of self and confidence” after the heartbreaking incident.
In a video shared by the center, eagle-eyed Meghan Markle fans spotted her with big loads of donations made through her and Harry’s Archewell Foundation. The mother-of-two arrived with overflowing bags of clothes. And was seen talking to someone from the relief organisation. She chose to keep a low profile and wore a black tee, a camel-colored sweater tied around her shoulders, and a black baseball cap.
The Duchess’ fans rushed to the video’s comment section and praised her. One wrote, “I can support my princess being her kind self.” Another said, “This is just amazing, and seeing the community come together will only strengthen the city.” As per Town and Country magazine, Meghan Markle also brought lunch for the volunteers and spoke to the affected families.
