Meghan Markle has yet again made news for something that might be beyond her control. An astonishing co-incidence took place when Markle’s new product tease coincided with Kate’s first-ever public reappearance since her cancer diagnosis. However, a PR expert got involved in the matter and made things clear. Let’s dive into the details of the whole issue.

Meghan Markle Criticised For Her Business Move: Details!

The former Suits actress allegedly launched two new products under her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, just hours before Kate’s royal comeback. This tease came at the wrong time this weekend, in a move that Meghan seems to have had nothing to do with.

On Saturday, the Trooping the Colour event took place. A friend of the Sussexes shared some pictures online with Meghan’s new brand products ahead of the event.

Polo player and a close friend of Prince Harry, Nacho Figueras, took to his Instagram mere hours before Trooping the Colour to share that he had received some new products from Meghan’s brand.

He shared photos of a new jam and some dog biscuits. This move soon caught the attention of netizens online, and they criticised Meghan for the ‘bad timing’ as Princess Kate made her first-ever public appearance since her cancer diagnosis.

But, Meghan’s team reportedly didn’t set out to sabotage Kate, a source told The Daily Beast. An expert shed light on the issue and said that this was not done with any malice and it didn’t overshadow anything. The expert also claims that Meghan had ‘no control’ over the product tease.

Kate Made Her First Public Reappearance

While speaking to The Mirror, public relations expert Lynn Carratt revealed, “I don’t think Meghan sending a pot of her American Riviera Orchard jam and some dog biscuits to the couple’s close friend Nacho Figueras a day before the Trooping of the Colour and Kate’s first public appearance since undergoing cancer treatment was done with any malice.”

She also added that Meghan didn’t have any control over when Nacho would post them, and it didn’t overshadow anything. The Duchess soft-launched her lifestyle brand back in March with an Instagram page and has been sending the first set of products to select friends and influencers for review.
