Young Royal George Enjoys His First Flight
Earlier this week, the young royal Prince George enjoyed his first flight on the final day of his school vacation. An onlooker at the Berkshire airfield described the moment and said, “He loved it. It’s the right time to start.”
Kate and Prince William watched their son soar high into the air and come back to land safely just under an hour later. Royal fans know that the most powerful family of Britain has a tradition of flying and George seems to be getting the hang of it.
According to The Sun, the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in a three-car convoy at the airfield where George’s great-grandad Prince Philip also trained. After the flight, all three royals were said to have relaxed at the clubhouse, which is home to the West London Aero Club.
While discussing the scenario, an onlooker mentioned that the young royal teen is just 11 years old, but it’s the right age to start.Another person present at the airfield described 30 or 40 people in the clubhouse. Catherine and William watched their son take off, and the couple was pretty relaxed about the whole thing.
This comes after Prince William revealed that he would love to fly again. While visiting at the Wales Air Ambulance headquarter in South Wales, the father-of-three said that he cannot stop talking about helicopters and medical kits. He also added that he misses all of it and is quite keen to do it all for a little bit longer.

Flying has long been a tradition for the Royal Family, but Prince George has started much earlier than his ancestors. The late Prince Philip began training at White Waltham in 1952 when he was just 31. As for William, he started at the age of 27 as part of an intensive training programme with the RAF.
