America Hates Prince Harry & Meghan?
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit the firm in 2020, the duo’s popularity has taken a downward spiral in the UK. Situations were already not in the pair’s favour. But they’ve hit a new low as Americans also seem to be turning their backs on the couple. Royal expert Ingrid Seward, speaking to The Standard, said, “I give a lot of talks to Americans. And they all dislike Harry and Meghan.”
The editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine also highlighted that Americans hate that the Sussexes’ let the Queen down. Royal fans know that Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down from their roles in 2020 and moved to Montecito with their kids. After departing from the royal fold, they slammed the royal family members in their Netflix docuseries and Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare.
As of now, the father-of-two has renounced his British residency and claims America as his home in paperwork. The duo is also still estranged from the rest of their family. Americans don’t care about the pair simply because they’ve “lost interest” in them.
“We lost interest in Harry and Meghan after realizing we had given them way too much credit over the years,” royal expert Kinsey Schofield told the publication.
