Prince Harry And Meghan Are Coming To The U.K. For The Invictus Games!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set for the Invictus Games in Birmingham. Meanwhile, earlier this year, the Duke of Sussex lost a legal case and couldn’t get the security for his wife and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. He said that he couldn’t know how his family would safely visit the U.K.
However, during a recent visit to London, he randomly knocked at his friend’s door and roamed around. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex has joined Prince Harry for the Invictus Games. It is a sports competition which takes place every two years for injured service members. Sussex always comes forward to support the injured people.
One of the royal observers shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t miss the Invictus Games. The couple also went to Vancouver for the Games in February 2025, coming up as a team. Even in Düsseldorf in 2023, they appeared as a team.

Meanwhile, in 2022, Meghan gave a speech at the Opening Ceremony of the Covid-postponed 2020 Games in the Hague. Harry was in tears as she honoured him as a loving father and service veteran. Earlier, they attended the Games in Sydney held in 2018. At that time, Meghan was pregnant with her first child. In 2017, they appeared for the first time at the Invictus Games in Toronto. They were seen hand in hand at a wheelchair tennis event.
The Birmingham Games will be held from 10 July 2027. Most of the Games will be held at the city’s NEC except swimming, which will take place at Sandwell Aquatics Centre. There will be nine core sports with three new additions, including pickleball, laser run and e-sports. Helen Helliwell, who is the CEO of Birmingham 2027, shared his excitement and said that they were happy to announce the dates. He added that it will support the recovery of the Armed Forces community.
Meanwhile, in February, during the opening ceremony, Prince Harry said to bring on the Invictus Games in 2027. Meanwhile, Rob Owen, who is the CEO of the Invictus Games, shared that Birmingham is a vibrant city and they are excited as the dates are set. He added that there would be eight Invictus Games and the return of the Games to the U.K. Earlier, the Games took place in London in 2014.
