Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to the U.S. after their son Archie was born. However, a Royal insider told G.B. News that they are now ready to reconcile with their family in the U.K. They added that the Duchess of Sussex wants to create a more positive environment. And what’s better than presenting herself as a peacemaker, right?
Furthermore, she specifically sympathises with Princess Kate and her difficult situation. “Despite all their bad blood, her heart does go out to Kate.” After all, the brain behind American Riviera Orchard can only imagine how tough this situation must be for Middleton. According to the insider, Meghan focuses on moving past all the “nonsense” and striving to heal for everybody’s sake. “She’s ready to let the anger and bitterness go,” says the source.
In the past, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex threw shade at the Prince and Princess of Wales. For instance, the piping-hot revelations made during the Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021 enraged the royal family big time. It was followed by Harry’s memoir, ‘Spare’, which again took a dig at the royals in a very unapologetic manner.
Will The Wales Royals Accept the Sussexes’ Peace Offering?
In March 2024, Middleton took the lid off her cancer diagnosis shortly after the news of Charles being cancer-stricken broke out. Additionally, the news related to the King led Harry to visit his father in Britain. However, Harry and her better half have not visited Kate during her treatment. Recently, the Princess of Wales graced the Trooping the Colour, marking her first public appearance since her diagnosis.
She joined Prince William and their three kids, King Charles and Queen Camilla, on the balcony. We reckon it’s hard to predict whether Prince William and Kate will accept the Sussexes’ peace gesture. On top of this, Harry earlier stated that he plans to visit the U.K. frequently to spend time with his family.
