A royal biographer friend of Princess Diana has given her frank verdict on Meghan Markle. Tina Brown, a former editor of Vanity Fair and Tatler, claimed that the Duchess of Sussex has “the worst judgement of anyone in the world. Tina, also the author behind the book The Diana Chronicles, made scathing comments about Meghan and her husband Prince Harry in a podcast.
Prince Harry has been described as a ‘lamb to the slaughter’ by the former journalist. The former Suits alum has been accused of masterminding Harry’s decision to leave the royal fold in 2020 and start their lives in LA. While speaking at The Ankler podcast, Tina spoke about the Duchess’ frequent poor judgement and how she fails to understand public opinion. Brown appeared with Janice Min to promote her new Substack newsletter, Fresh Hell.

The former Vanity Fair editor was asked if she thought Harry will remain in the US and be married to Meghan Markle in 10 years. To which she responded, “I think he’s pretty much in the thrall of Meghan… He’s the lamb to the slaughter in this situation. I mean, he was terribly impressed by Meghan. He thought that she knew it all.” She also highlighted how Harry sort of blindly followed her like a child.
The royal author, who was Princess Diana’s biographer and the author of the Palace Papers, branded Prince Harry as the naive person who does not know the ways of the world – a person who has probably not ever booked a table in a restaurant.
