The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have purchased a new holiday home in Portugal. This property is said to be close to Prince Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack’s holiday home, too. This is an exclusive Costa Terra Gold and Ocean Club designed by Denton House. Now, residents near Harry and Meghan’s are voicing concerns over wealthy foreigners purchasing coastal properties.
Developers are now allowed to build on public beaches and designate them as ‘private, ‘ with limited access for locals. Earlier, rules prevented such developments, but new regulations have enabled the privatisation of beautiful natural areas, reported The Mirror. One local named Bradley McGuinness expressed frustration and called it “the worst thing to happen to the Portuguese coast.”

Prince Harry and Meghan bought this property recently, and the couple currently resides in a £23.6 million mansion in Montecito, California, near celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Katy Perry.
