Prince Harry’s bold move to America has taken a turn as he faces unforeseen challenges that could jeopardise his American dream. Amidst revelations of past drug use, Harry and Meghan Markle are dealing with uncertainties about their future in the US. Royal expert Tom Quinn suggests Harry may harbour deep regrets about revealing his drug history. Keep scrolling to learn more about it!
Prince Harry’s Decision Risks His Residence
Royal expert Tom Quinn suggests that Prince Harry’s dream of moving to America with Meghan Markle might be dashed- all thanks to his decision. Things could get complicated with the possibility of Donald Trump becoming President again. Quinn says Harry is already feeling lonely and bored in his new life.
In 2020, the couple moved to the US after refusing royal duties. But now, Harry’s facing a big problem. The Heritage Foundation, a think tank, is suing him. Why? Well, in his new book ‘Spare,’ Harry admits he used drugs in the past. He talks openly in his book about trying things like magic mushrooms and cannabis.
And the trouble is that he didn’t mention this history on the form he filled out. The think tank has alleged that Harry was not truthful about his past drug use. Washington, DC, Judge Carl Nichols is currently examining the form closely.
Mr Quinn mentioned that Meghan and Harry had consulted solicitors because they were concerned about the potential impact on Harry’s residency status if Donald Trump returned to power. According to him, Trump had stated that if Harry is found to have misrepresented his drug use on his visa application, he could face deportation.
‘Harry Deeply Regrets Making His Drug-Taking Public’
Initially, Harry believed that he wouldn’t face such consequences as a royal prince. However, he realised that being a prince in the United States doesn’t provide much protection. The royal expert said, “But one thing is for sure Harry deeply regrets ever making his drug-taking public. It never occurred to him that this might end up threatening his whole life plan.”
Quinn observed that Harry seems increasingly uncomfortable and out of place in his new life in the US. Previously, he found everything exciting and new during his first six months there, but now the glamour seems to be fading amid growing criticism.
Harry, who has always relied on others for tasks like cooking, cleaning, and gardening, now feels lonely after walking the dog in the morning. Meghan tries her best to support him, but she is in her element while Harry feels like he’s in a strange and unwelcoming environment.
