On March 11, Prince William visited Sporting Khalsa FC in Winehall, West Midlands to observe a referee training course as part of the Football Association’s campaign. Inside the training ground, he joined a refereeing theory lesson, learned about fouls, and spoke with trainers.
He also met Levi Gray, a professional referee and a British Army Lieutenant, whose story was quite inspiring. She explained how football helped her develop leadership skills for the military. They also discussed the growing representation of women in the sport.

But before this, the grand welcome truly stole the limelight! The unexpected scene – Hundreds of schoolchildren and locals gathered – waving flags, holding handmade posters, cheering his name with excitement made the Prince quite cheerful. The Prince also responded with the same energy, endless high fives, hugs and smiles.
A particular sign that read- Aston Villa is best grabbed his attention and he gave a thumbs up! A heartwarming moment that caught attention – a little boy outstretched his arms for a hug and the Prince of Wales hugged him back showering him all his love!
