Prince William is reportedly ‘resentful’ towards his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew, which stems right back to the early days of his romance with his now-wife, Kate Middleton. The Royal Family seems to be facing a difficult time maintaining unity amongst themselves.

The Prince of Wales is said to hold a ‘grudge’ against his uncle, Prince Andrew, for his unkind gesture towards Kate Middleton. Royal fans know that Andrew was forced to step down as a working member in 2020 following his interview in which he spoke about his connections with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
He has maintained a low profile ever since, supposedly at the request of King Charles’ and his son Prince William. It is believed that the future king played a major role in the decision to have Andrew kicked out of his offices at Buckingham Palace. Moreover, he has been vocal about his insistence that the Duke of York should be banned from attending any official royal events.

As per reports, Prince William is the one pressuring the monarch to force Andrew out of the Royal Lodge. According to Daily Mail’s Richard Kay, William has long held a grudge against Andrew for being unwelcoming when he first introduced the then Kate Middleton to the Royal Family and feels that his father has been too soft on him.
After William’s insistence, Charles is now pushing Andrew to vacate the Royal Lodge estate and move into Harry & Meghan’s former residence, Frogmore Cottage. The Duke of York’s unwillingness to move house has become an issue between the siblings.
Moreover, this move will hit two birds with one stone. One will be to Andrew that he can no longer relish a lavish lifestyle after embarrassing the royal name. As for the other, this will send a message to Harry and Meghan that they will never be allowed back to Frogmore.

Furthermore, some reports also suggest that Charles is determined that the Royal Lodge should be for his heir and the future king, who in this case is William.
