Prince William and Kate’s love story is nothing less than a modern fairytale. The couple who tied the knot in 2011 were reportedly forced to reveal the truth about their ‘secret romance’ during a party with their friends. Royal fans know that now Prince & Princess of Wales became friends while they were in the same college but soon their friendship blossomed into romance after sometime.
The couple’s relationship was initially ‘shrouded in secrecy’ because of William’s position within the royal fold. But the cat was let out of the bag when William’s former flame, Carly Massy-Birch participated in a game of ‘Never Have I Ever.’ This comes in after Robert Jobson wrote about Kate and William’s relationship in his latest book, Catherine: The Princess of Wales.
Jobson wrote that while William and Kate were at a dinner party with friends, the group decided to play the above-mentioned drinking game. An ex-girlfriend of Willia, Carly was one of the guests at the soiree, and when it was her turn, her confession seemingly targeted the future King and Queen. The ex-girlfriend announced, ‘I’ve never dated two people in this room,’ knowing full well that William was the only one who had because Kate was sitting next to him.

For obvious reasons, Prince William was not happy about it and allegedly responded with a ‘thunderous look’ before whispering to her, ‘I can’t believe you just said that.’ This confession obviously left the other guests stunned as the royal couple kept their relationship secret for years.
