In a year filled with challenges and unwavering hope, Prince William has provided a touching look into the strength and courage of his wife, Kate Middleton, as she goes through her cancer journey. Royal fans know that the Princess of Wales was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer earlier this year, and he recently completed her chemotherapy session. Kate Middleton is ‘doing well’ amid her cancer battle as per Prince William. Earlier this week, the future King spoke to some publications a few hours before his Earth Prize awards were about to take place in Cape Town. While discussing his wife’s health, William said, “She’s doing really well, thanks. And hopefully, she is watching tonight. So cheering me on.” We are so glad that the Princess is doing so great and we wish her more power.
Before the father-of-three was asked about Kate, the reporters also asked how his year was so far, the Prince of Wales replied: “Honestly? “It’s been dreadful. It’s probably been the hardest year in my life.” We know that Kate revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer in March and shared a video with the world making the announcement. Kate also added that she was “well and getting stronger every day.”

Amid her treatment and recovery, Princess Kate attended two public events between the March and September announcements—Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July—and has appeared at several other events since sharing that she completed chemo. We recently saw her make a surprise appearance at Windsor Castle to meet a young photographer dealing with cancer as the teen captured the investiture ceremony organised by Prince William.
Along with this, Kate also accompanied her husband in Southport to support the community grieving in the wake of the horrifying attack in July during which three young girls were killed at a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance class.
