Vice Admiral Sir Updates On His Wife’s Health Condition
Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence confirms that Princess Anne is ‘recovering slowly’ as he visited his wife at Bristol Hospital. The 73-year-old Princess Royal is on her fourth day in the hospital after a horse-related accident on Sunday evening. She is being treated following the incident.
It occurred while she was walking on her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire. According to reports, Sir Timothy left the hospital building just before 2 pm after two hours today. When asked if she would be discharged on Wednesday, he said, ‘She’ll be out when she’s ready!’
Yesterday, Princess Royal’s husband and daughter, Zara Tindall, arrived at the hospital. They brought home treats for her. He assured reporters, “She’s doing fine, slow but sure!” Additionally, the Vice Admiral shared with a well-wisher outside the hospital, “She’s recovering well.”
He added that they are grateful to the medical team and all the hospital staff for expert care. The Royals are deeply touched by the countless kind messages from people near and far. Anne’s medical team reported that a horse’s head or legs might have caused her head injuries.
For now, she needs time to recover, so her duties this week have been postponed. Last night, she missed the state banquet for the Japanese state visit, and her trip to Canada has also been delayed.
