King Charles’ Sister Discharged From Hospital
Princess Anne reportedly has returned home after being treated for concussion and head injuries. As per reports, she was hit by a horse while out walking near her home. The 73-year-old royal is now receiving rehabilitation support at her Gatcombe Park country home in Gloucestershire. She has been discharged from Southmead Hospital in Bristol on Friday, People Magazine confirms.
Although the details of her injury have not been made clear other than that it involved a hard horse kick. As of now, the royal princess will continue to rest at home to recover properly. During this time, she was unable to attend nine public engagements this week, including a royal visit to Canada, which was scheduled for Sunday.

Doctors expect her to get back on her feet in a week, but her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, said in a statement that she was ‘recovering slowly.’ The Vice admiral thanked the hospital and said, “I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay.” The sources furthermore claim that Anne will return to royal duties after she receives a green light from her doctors.
According to publications, The ‘horse accident’ took place on June 23, and she was hospitalised on the same day. Her injuries were consistent with a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs. Buckingham Palace released a statement about Princess Anne, and her husband briefly spoke about her wife’s health on the day of the incident.

He said, “She is recovering well, thank you. We are both profoundly grateful to the medical team and hospital support staff for their expert care and the emergency services, who were all so wonderful at the scene.” Princess Anne is known as one of the most hard-working royals and has carried out numerous public engagements in the absence of other working royals. She was supposed to be a part of this week’s state visit by Japanese Emperors.
