The daughters of Prince Andrew’s ‘refusal’ to perform royal duties has ‘complicated their inheritance’, a property expert told GB News. Even though the King’s nieces were raised with HRH Princess titles following their births back in 1988 and 1990, they do not handle any royal responsibilities.
The property in question is the Royal Lodge where Prince Andrew. It is a spacious 30-room mansion on the Windsor Estate; he shares the property with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
As per earlier reports, the King wants his younger brother to leave the Royal Lodge and move into Frogmore Cottage ever since, Andrew was stripped off royal privileges and titles given his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal. However, the Duke of York wants to leave his property, which he leases from the Crown Estate, as an inheritance for his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
This caught the attention of Raj Chohan, owner of Golden Key Estates, who spoke to GB News to explain whether Andrew actually owns the property or not. He said, “Royal Lodge is part of the Crown Estate. Since the Epstein scandal, Prince Andrew has been stripped away from royal duties, which would mean that as the Crown is funded through taxes and he is not now fulfilling formal duties, this would now not form part of his estate.”

Chohan also added that Andrew might be a tenant and is paying £250 a week to keep the property as it is. As Andrew leases the property, Raj explains that he could still be able to leave the property as an inheritance for his daughters.
“For now, this is still part of the Crown Estate and the board of directors would decide the long-term plans. In a form of inheritance for the country, siblings get equal shares in all assets,” he told the publication. Princess Eugenie has two kids with her husband Jack Brooksbank and as for Beatrice, she welcomed a beautiful daughter in 2021.
