On May 23, Princess Kate and her husband shared an update on Instagram that made nature lovers do a happy dance. The Wales royals uncovered a new BBC Earth docuseries titled Guardians, which doesn’t look like your average nature show. Additionally, the six-part series has a special purpose behind it.
It’s an attempt to celebrate the unsung heroes of conservation. We’re talking about rangers who risk it all, day in and day out, to protect the planet’s most precious wildlife. The caption reads, “Rangers are the first line of defence in the protection and conservation of our natural world.”
It also highlights how these officials take big risks in saving endangered species from poachers and protecting biodiversity. Furthermore, Prince William and Catherine’s post gave a shout-out to @unitedforwildlife, who are celebrating these individuals.
The Wales Royals’ New Docuseries Celebrate Nature
“Guardian” pays homage to their tireless efforts to protect some of our most valued natural assets. If you’re a fan of inspiring stories, check out the first episode on YouTube! Meanwhile, GB News reports that the series will release one episode per week, featuring rangers from around the globe.
The regions include the Central African Republic and the Himalayas, Brazil, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Mexico. The docuseries gives a platform to the brave souls helping keep Mother Nature safe and sound. Unsurprisingly, the internet came out in full royal support.
One fan wrote, “The work you do is so valuable, so important, and so very much appreciated by the Commonwealth.” Another commented, “Brilliant seeing these wonderful guardians working to protect our planet.
