Princess Kate is one of the most-loved royal members, and the constant spotlight is nothing but an offshoot. This time, she has caught everyone’s attention by sharing a stunning clip. Will Warr, the man behind the lens, caught Kate and Prince William enjoying the beautiful Norfolk countryside last summer. But there was a cute surprise that got everyone talking. Dive in to know more!
Princess Kate: Did the Wales Royals Get Another Dog?
The video Princess Kate shared emphasised the importance of nature. In the clip, she touched a tree’s bark, and William walked barefoot in a field. Their black Cocker Spaniel, Orla, was at their side, but there was another addition—a brown Cocker Spaniel trotting alongside Orla.
It sparked a string of comments like, “Princess Catherine has a new puppy, and “Orla has a new brother or sister!” It wasn’t the first appearance of the new dog, but it hadn’t caused much buzz until now. Sadly, we don’t know much about the four-legged munchkin because the royal family hasn’t confirmed its identity.
Subsequently, people are speculating that the new dog might belong to Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. It’s because they were present when the video was taken, but there are some other rumours. The dog could also belong to Middleton’s brother, James since he loves dogs and is a Cocker Spaniel breeder.
The Royal Family Loves Animals!
Regardless of the ownership, the pup might have been an adorable addition to the Wales family. It’s not a secret that the British royal family loves animals. We can never forget how Queen Elizabeth II adored her corgis. Over the years, several royal members have been spotted with their pets.
Meanwhile, William and Kate welcomed Orla into their family in 2021 after Lupo, their English Cocker Spaniel, passed away. The late doggo accompanied the royals at various events and featured in young Prince George’s baby photos. Unfortunately, Lupo drew his last breath in 2020 at the age of nine.
Besides their dogs, the Prince and Princess of Wales keep several animals, including chickens and a pet hamster, Marvin. During a visit to a farm in Birmingham, William revealed they also own guinea pigs. “The ones we have are always on the move. You have to keep them constantly stroked and looked after,” he joked.
Back to the big question, we’ll have to wait until the new dog’s identity comes out. Keep an eye on Soap Opera Daily to stay abreast with Princess Kate updates. What do you think about the potential new member?
