A new twist in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story! Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes might have found his side hustle in “matchmaking” along with his football career! Mahomes continued, “I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert when the friendship bracelet [idea emerged].” He recounted that Travis was sitting in his suite, so he felt like he was the matchmaker. Interestingly, Kelce had dished out this very strategy to catch Swift’s attention at her July 2023 Kansas City concert.
“If you’re up at Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there.” However, the NFL player wanted to give Swift one with his number on it. Even though Travis couldn’t meet Tay that night, his gutsy move PAID OFF! She revealed, “He put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.”
The Cornelia Street singer started hanging out with Travis right after the incident. Back to Mahomes, the KCC quarterback admits he encouraged Kelce’s bold approach. “I had some input in there as well. I was like, ‘Dude, you should go for it. Just go for it.'” Moreover, Pat is quite happy that the duo eventually ended up together.
Last fall, Taylor and Travis went public, and their fairy-tale romance quickly became the talk of the town. The Grammy-winning singer goes all out cheering on Kelce at Chiefs while he attends Tay’s epic Eras Tour shows. Their mutual admiration and support literally charmed the world. Earlier, she declared, “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
Moreover, Swift is grateful that she got the privacy to know each other better beforehand. Recently, Taylor and Travis crafted enchanting memories in Europe! The Fortnight singer caught a breather from her Eras Tour performances in a cozy retreat in Lake Como, Italy, with Kelce. They went on romantic late-night strolls and even spent boating on Lake Como.
Their dreamy vacation began just a day after Swift’s fourth and final Eras Tour show in Paris, France, on May 12.
