Police Searches Continue At Former Residences
At the behest of Thames Valley Police, Andrew was taken into custody in the morning at his home, a part of Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
A complaint that led to Andrew’s arrest alleged that he had shared confidential material with Jeffrey Epstein. Normal procedures such as identity verification, mugshots and fingerprints were carried out after he was taken to Aylsham police station.
King’s brother was provided with meals. Moreover, he might have received legal advice from a duty solicitor while waiting for his own lawyer. However, Andrew will have no restrictions following his release. He will be able to travel freely.
Also, he doesnt have to stand by other conditions. Meanwhile, the officers are still searching at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park. It’s his former home in Berkshire. Also, searches in Norfolk have already been concluded.

Andrew remains eighth in line to the throne. However, many younger royals are ahead of him. So his ever becoming a king is unlikely. Also, technically, he is still a counsellor of state. According to previous reports, it includes forwarding trade visit reports and Treasury briefings to personal contacts. Now police have to find whether Andrew acted without justification and abused the public trust while performing duties as a public officer.
Even King Charles expressed his support in the investigation. King said, “The law must take its course.” Also even Buckingham Palace has confirmed that it will fully cooperate with Thames Valley Police.
