Prince Harry and his wife stepped down from their royal duties in 2020, and the couple has moved to California. However, the pair retained their royal titles while starting a new life in the US away from the royals. Even after being financially independent, they still use their royal connection multiple times.
The Duke and Duchess have been open about their struggles with the royal family ever since they left the royal world. However, according to a royal expert, they will only be welcomed into the royal family if they mend their ways. Will the couple do that?
The Duke & Duchess Of Sussex Have Been Warned
Prince Harry and Meghan have come under fire for ‘monetising’ their royal links and have been warned against using it if they want to become a part of the Royal Family again. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have held their royal titles despite quitting royal life in 2020.
After moving to California, the couple started talking about the issues and struggles they went through with the royal family. From tell-all interviews and documentaries to Prince Harry’s explosive memoir, Spare, the couple has a big earning potential by saying things about Royals.
However, according to royal expert Russell Myers, the Sussexes will not be welcomed back into the royal family anytime soon if they don’t change their ways. While speaking to Sky News Australia, he said, “Members from the royal family have told Harry that if he wants a relationship with the rest of the family, then first and foremost, he has got to stop talking about them.”

Myers also shared that the couple can’t go on making money off their associations with the royal family. “They’re going to [have to] sort of realise, if they’re going to have a relationship with the rest of the royal family, they can’t go about trashing them,” Myers continued.
In addition, Russell believes that the Royal firm is ‘united without them.’ He said, “Hopefully, they’ll see that the Royal Family are very united without them, and if they do want a relationship, going forward, they need to take the steam out of their relationship and out of the things they say sometimes.”
This news comes after tensions between both families have increased. As per reports, the duo was not invited to this weekend’s Trooping the Colour ceremony. While Prince William and cancer-stricken Kate Middleton attended the event, there was no sign of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple were snubbed from the annual military parade that celebrates King Charles III’s birthday for the second year in a row.
