When we thought Taylor Swift wouldn’t be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds made another shocking announcement. Well, it’s not an announcement, but his latest social media post has fans buzzing. Ryan took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen image of him enjoying the beautiful scenery.
On July 2, 2024, Ryan Reynolds shared a shot of himself in front of a forest. While the image seemed ordinary, it held many secrets. He actually paid homage to Taylor Swift’s “Evermore” album cover art. To make it more convincing, Ryan Reynolds added the album’s title track, Evermore, in the background.
It has already taken fans on their toes, as they have been waiting for such spoilers. But is it Ryan’s way to confirm Taylor Swift’s cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine? Well, it could be! That’s because Ryan Reynolds has been dropping several hints, teasing Taylor Swift might join him in his threequels. However, Disney has denied all the claims supporting Swift’s joining the MCU as Blonde Phantom.
Despite that, it has already convinced fans that Ryan is actually dropping easter eggs. Fans have been talking about Swift joining the MCU since the beginning of the year. Although there hasn’t been any news about Taylor Swift joining the MCU’s Blonde Phantom in a Disney+ series, the MCU wants to keep things under wrap for the moment.
Last month, Taylor Swift was spotted enjoying a meal with the MCU director, which further led many to believe that Swift would make her debut in the MCU. However, Entertainment Weekly recently reported that the pop star won’t make her cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine.
The movie’s director, Shawn Levy, said that they don’t want any more cameos in the film because there are a lot of characters in it. Shawn continued that the internet is already delighted with several rumored cameos and the magnitude of character cameos in the Deadpool and Wolverine movies.
While he denied the rumors, he did suggest that “some rumors are true.” That means fans can be delighted by Taylor Swift’s presence in the movie or the Disney+ series. While the MCU director has hinted that Taylor Swift might not be a part of Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds will go to any length to work with her.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ryan said that he will film the next movie in his house and will do whatever it takes to make Taylor Swift a part of the film. He said, “I would do anything for that woman [Taylor Swift].”
Although Taylor Swift’s rumored cameo won’t appear in Ryan Reynolds’s movie Deadpool & Wolverine, we still have the Disney+ Blonde Phantom series to look after. As of now, there’s no official confirmation about her debut in MCU, but Soap Opera Daily will update you soon.
