Singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter spoke up about her love life and what she seeks in a partner. She told Cosmopolitan UK, “I don’t think I have a type.” Carpenter has been in a cute relationship with Barry Keoghan for about a year. Interestingly, the Espresso singer shed light on her criteria for a partner, describing her approach to dating as “fun” and “messy.”
The Tall Girl actress isn’t the one to live by popular belief. She said, “But the internet loves to just put pictures next to each other of men with the same hair color.” The pop star gave away that she’s drawn to partners who share qualities with her friends. Additionally, she highlighted the importance of friendship in a relationship. “I want to be with someone who’s going to be one of my best friends.”
The Work It star loves someone who matches her energy and humor and is genuine. “I will say I’ve always connected more with people who are really in touch with their emotions,” Carpenter added. Discussing her dating approach, Carpenter mentioned that fate plays a significant role for her. Sabrina explained, “I know that’s super broad, but I don’t actively look for it.”
According to Carpenter, relationships have to be interesting because they distract her from the other things she loves. And get this: The Nonsense singer was rumored to begin dating Irish actor Barry Keoghan sometime in 2023. Their relationship came to light in late 2023 when they were spotted sharing a kiss in Los Angeles.

In addition, the duo celebrated Sabrina’s birthday with Keoghan in Brooklyn, hosting a party at DUMBO House with around a hundred guests.
