Selena Gomez is all set for her latest cook show ‘Selena + Restaurant.’ Well, the actress/singer starred in the same show, ‘Selena + Chef,’ before, but this time, things are different. Recently, the People You Know singer discussed why this season is different.
In a recent interview with Food Network, Selena Gomez addressed the changes in this season. She said this season is undoubtedly different, as she will step outside her kitchen. In her previous cooking show, she prepared the meals in her own kitchen with a professional chef on FaceTime. But now, things are different.
She will use a professional kitchen and learn about the chef’s taste and style. Selena Gomez further added that this season, she will learn to create her own dish, which she found a little scary but exciting as well.
Also, Selena Gomez called her show ‘interesting’ when asked to describe her ‘Selena + Restaurant.’ She said she found it fun to prepare food for others, which also gave her a lot of learning experience. Selena added, “I think for me it’s been exciting to meet new people and try new dishes from all over the world.”
Trying, tasting, and preparing new things has been so much fun for her. However, since she isn’t a professional chef, she sometimes finds it challenging to prepare premium-quality food. Selena Gomez emphasized that she’s trying and getting better every season. So it’s fun to be a part of ‘Selena + Restaurant,’ and she enjoys it too.
While the show just hit our screen yesterday, fans remained frenzy after the author and Selena’s closest friend, Raquelle Stevens, accompanied the singer. They both prepared dishes for chefs Shirley Chung and Wolfgang Puck. While the duo found it difficult to prepare meals per the chef’s standard, Selena Gomez’s dish finally made it to the MS Chi menu.
Initially, she had a hard time preparing dumplings. However, her mouth-watering dish impressed Shirley Chung and was soon added to the menu. Her dish will be called NaiNai dumplings soup.
Shortly after, her fans took to Twitter to support their favorite actress. One fan wrote, “Watching Selena + Restaurant and thinking how proud I am” of Selena Gomez and her accomplishment. The person also added his desire to see Selena coming up with her own cookbook.
As for the cook show lovers, the show airs every Thursday at 7 pm ET on Food Network, so don’t miss it. Stay with Soap Opera Daily for more such updates on Selena Gomez.
