Since Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour started on March 17, 2023, fans can’t keep calm. They have been going insane to see their favorite pop star perform in their city and are even spending huge amounts of money to buy tickets to the Eras Tour dates.
Everyone loves to see their favorite star perform on stage, but being scammed in the process is a big deal. And what if we tell you that over 600 Lloyds customers have scammed over Taylor’s name?
Indeed, you read that right. According to reports, most of her loyal fans are fooled by social media posts, ads, or listings. Many have even revealed that while they paid upfront for Eras Tour tickets, their tickets never arrived, and the scammers vanished out of thin air.
Reports further suggest that loyal Lloyd customers lost an average of 332 pounds between July 2023 and March 2024. Not only this, but some also lost almost 1000 pounds. While these reports are from Bank of Scotland and Halifax, other UK banks reveal that almost 3000 fell victim to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour scam, leading to a total loss of 1 million pounds.
As soon as the scam caught Taylor Swift’s attention, she urged her loyal fans to use official platforms instead of falling victim to such bait. Bad Blood singer even suggested following safe payment measures like debit or credit cards.
While the scam has created trouble for Taylor Swift’s fans, the pop star is pumped to start touring for another leg of the Eras Tour. As many of us know, Swift has recently taken a break from her concerts but will soon hit the stage on May 9.
She’ll resume touring in France and around Europe until August. Later, Swift has another break from mid-August. Reports suggest Swift will begin the next leg of The Eras Tour in America.
Lovers singer began her tour from the States but plans to break her record by playing in crowds in New Orleans, Miami Gardens, and Indianapolis. According to reports, Taylor Swift will later head to Toronto and Vancouver.
While this much is known about her Eras Tour, fans remained surprised when the singer announced a break. While it’s quite shocking, considering it’s a billion-dollar project, the release of Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was to be blamed. Her latest album is expected to drop on April 19. So, mark the date!
