Wayne Brady had a really limited stint on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, it was a very memorable one. Thanks to all the chaos he cooked up as Reese Buckingham on the soap between 2018-2019. Now, the star has given Daytime fans yet another reason to remain etched in their minds.
Wayne Brady recently came out of the closet and declared that he identifies as Pansexual now. For the unversed, pansexuals are attracted to people of any gender or to people regardless of their gender. He made the stunning announcement in his new docuseries Wayne Brady: The Family Remix.
The Bold and the Beautiful star’s docuseries gives his fans an idea of what his life looks like with his 21 year old daughter and his ex-wife, and her new partner. But of course, the series largely focuses on his decision to open up about identifying as a pansexual. What gave him the courage to accept it, and how it has affected his life, especially his marriage and family.
Wayne Brady recently sat down for a chat with Sherri Shepheard. The Bold and the Beautiful star opened up about why he finally felt comfortable to come out of the closet. “Here is the thing; I don’t care!,” he joked. But then in all seriousness he added that he cared so much about his sexuality in the past. But he is “too damn old to care now.”
It was obvious by his body language, tonality and choice of words, that he really does feel comfortable with how he feels about his sexuality. Wayne truly is in a good place now that he has put the truth on the table.
We hope that his openness gives strength to all the people who are struggling to come out of the closet. It is 2024 and the world is ready to accept these sort of things. What do you think?
