When Ivy Forrester first returned to LA earlier this year, she made it crystal clear that she wanted Liam back, confirm The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers. The two reconnected over a meal at Il Giardino, and Ivy flirted with Liam like there was no tomorrow. That made us feel like these exes were well on their way to rekindling their romance. This felt especially certain since Steffy wanted nothing to do with Liam. Meanwhile, Hope didn’t want to reconcile with him either.
Thus, when Ivy Forrester returned to LA with Electra in tow, we were excited to see her and Liam fall back in love once again. However, The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers reveal that ever since she has arrived, all she has done is stand in support of Electra. All she does is offer passionate speeches about how she is going to keep her niece safe from the wretched stalker.
We can’t help but wonder if there is a specific reason behind Ivy repeatedly saying the same thing. Is B&B trying to foreshadow a dangerous situation for her? We know that Remy Pryce is a sinister menace who could go to any extent to serve his purpose. If Ivy catches on to him, and he finds out, there is no way he won’t try to take her out. Could the show be heading in a way that takes Ivy to a grim fate? Is that why they don’t want to invest in an Ivy-Liam romance?
But honestly, this is a soap opera that thrives on romantic drama. So, even if Ivy is headed for a grim fate or a close call with it, wouldn’t it so much more enjoyable to have a knight alongside her? Liam could end up being the one who saves her from meeting her end at Remy’s hand. If Ivy ends up in the hospital, it would be heartwarming to see Liam at her bedside.
Moreover, on the unfortunate occasion that she does end up meeting a grim fate. At least her lover will grieve her. Isn’t that what soap operas are all about? Thus, it is making no sense that B&B is wasting a potential couple like them for no reason. But we guess we’ll have to see if anything changes in the next The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers.
